It was released on September 27, 2012 as Rihanna’s lead single from her upcoming seventh studio album Unapologetic, which is set to be released this November 2012. “Diamonds” is written by Australian singer-songwriter Sia Furler together with Benny Blanco and Stargate. The song debuted at #16 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and reached #1 spot on countries like France, Poland, Scotland and the United Kingdom.
