License protection can be removed from the combustion of the audio file to a CD, and the re-extracting, although this may or may not be legal according to your country of residence as it will technically be override protection license. iTunes files cannot be made into ringtones, without combating license unless taken as ringtones.
The first step is to obtain the audio file and verify that it does not include license protection. Load in iTunes and drag the file onto iTunes, which I use to convert the audio file in a media format that can use the iPhone.
After selecting the file, select "Convert selection to AAC" from the Advanced menu. AAC is an acronym for Advanced Audio Coding and format that uses the Apple iPhone to ringtones, even though the file extension is. aac.
Once you create the file AAC, select Show in Finder, on the file menu, you will receive the file, and change the file extension to m4r. m4a.The system will ask you to confirm the change file extensions; choose. "m4r to complete the conversion of the file into a file audio AAC.
Drag the new file. m4r back to iTunes, which will automatically place your music/Ringtones ~/Music/iTunes/iTunes.This happens when the iPhone is looking for new ringtones from iTunes.
Connect the iPhone, go to Ringtone, and select the newly created a ringtone that should be listed, along with any other ringtones created or downloaded.
Sync the iPhone with iTunes and the newly created ringtone should be available for use. If not, you may need to cut file in thirty seconds or less before converting it to a format ringtone. This must be done before converting to an AAC file, in order to be effective, it is recommended that you delete the files, but the original before restarting this diadikasiasEpisis, each version of iTunes is somewhat different, so some of these steps may not be quite literally accurate, although the methodology is sound.
